A team called “The Impossible Project” have settled an agreement with Polaroid to use their old factory in Holland.
They now plan to re-start the production of the legendary analog Integral film.
“We aim to re-start production of analog INTEGRAL FILM for vintage Polaroid cameras in 2010. We have acquired Polaroid’s old equipment, factory and seek your support.”
This time the film will be back in a new matter and more modern version. The developers have 12 month to come up with a solution in order to replace the old expensive components and parts with cheaper ones. The goal is to have a final product finished at the end of this year.

This is exciting news!
Good stuff.
Yay, I’m glad. While I’m a majority digital shooter I like playing around with my toy cameras and polaroid was going to be next on my list of experiments. I look forward to having it restart again. Now I just need to find the right camera.
