8 Epic Lightroom presets for weddings…
This is a collection I’ve set up for those of you who are into wedding photography.
Many photographers adds that little extra touch to their wedding photos to bring a special feeling. With Lightroom and a couple of presets you can do the same and make your photos pop out from the rest, within a couple of minutes.
Most of the presets are new but some of them can be found at my site from previous posts and you might already have downloaded them before, but I’ll make it easy for you all and put them in a new preset package that I prefer to call “PH The Weddings“. Enjoy!

Hi Pierre,
These are really nice subtle and atmospheric results and definitely a cut above most Lightroom actions I’ve tried in the past.
I hope these work in 1.4 so I can try them out
Think the Stella Guru Greenfold is my favourite and may try that to process some 50s style pin-up photos after a shoot tomorrow. Not just nice for weddings only

I just wanted to thank you for these presets, as I just used these to put the finishing touches on a wedding I shot a few weeks back. Each one of the presets allowed my clients to standout more in each photo I used them in.
Thanks again,
David

Hi Pierre!
Your presets are lovely. Are they only compatible with Lightroom 2.0? I’m new to lightroom, and only have 1.0. I keep trying to download your presets and all I get is a text file telling me the template for the action. I looked at your video tutorial, but I don’t have the “user presets” option. Any way for me to make the presets work? Any help is much appreciated!!

nice presets!!!!!!
August 24th, 2009 at 1:24 am
I love the presets but when I say apply it hugely adjusts the brightness or blows them out completely. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. Tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.
August 24th, 2009 at 7:21 am
Hi Chrusta,
Depending on what kind of photo you’re using the effect may differ.
If you apply the presets on bright photos, they might get blown out.
If a preset makes your photo to bright…I suggest you start by adjusting the brightness in Lightroom on those “blown-out” photos. You can also elaborate with “Exposure” and “Recovery”. Please let me know if it did help you out.

This is The worst group of presets I have ever seen. No professional photographer should ever use these over processed settings that destroy images.
January 30th, 2010 at 6:35 am
Thank you for your knowledge in photography. I will try to apply.
February 6th, 2010 at 9:48 am

These are good presets for lightroom. As a Houston wedding photographer these presets make adding a few extra special images to a clients proofs. It’s nice on occasion to throw in something a little different.

Hello there,
I just installed the wedding presets in Lightrrom 3.0 – unfortunatly my pictures are after using the presets allways far to bright? – Does I do anything wrong? – I used different pictures, but all the same effect? – thanks for any help – Jens
September 2nd, 2010 at 1:43 pm
Hello again,
I just got it. The Reason was that I used jpg-files – I just imported one raw file form my D3x and the presets worked out very well – GREAT. Well looks like ist works much better with raw-files – any way great stuff.

Great Jens,
True, I always create the presets using RAW-files. Some of them work on both, but in most cases the JPEGs might get a crazy look
Thanks!
