Playing with your holiday photos? Don’t stop

Since I started using Lightroom I more often have a look at my old holiday photos. I believe the reason is because I like to play/experiment with them. Earlier I used Photoshop for this, but using "actions" in Photoshop is quite time-consuming since the only way of seeing an effect is to first apply it. If you know exactly what your action does, it works great though. If I'm just going to play with a particular photo, Photoshop would still be a good choice, but when it comes to multiple images...no thank you. With Lightroom I find it so easy to play with my photos because of the sweet live-preview function. Without it I really don't think I would spend as much time in Lightroom as I do. Tonight I found some of my city-shots from a holiday in Firenze. It ended up with this new preset called "PH In the city".

    FYI — The download link doesn’t work — gives a 404.

Thank you Trevs. Please try again.
Might be many at the same time downloading it.

I am so loving this preset. If you’d like to see what it did to a dull, lifeless picture I took in Dubrovnik last April, here’s a link to the before and after shots: http://www.viovio.com/photos/image_order.php?gallery_id=33287 I did nothing to it other than apply and preset and clone out one person.

Sunny, I’m so glad you like the preset.
Unfortunately I’m not able to see your before/after shots. The page tells me to login… :-/
    Thanks!

    Pierre,

I get my presets from here… I know this will happen in the future so I’ll say it now.

I will get tired of saying this: “This preset is freaking awesome!”

    Thanks for the hard work!

    allan
