Some of you have noticed we have a submit page were you can send in your own presets. If you’re lucky, it will be published just like this one from Vipul Kapadia.
This preset works best on landscapes, architectures, etc. with pictures taken under normal lighting conditions where pictures are not too dark or too bright. Also this would work best on RAW/DNG files versus JPGs as RAW files allow us to recover details from highlight and shadow areas better. BTW, this preset will work on JPGs :-)
The attempt with this preset is to make images look realistic and not psychedelic as I am not a fan of unrealistic looking images. This preset can also be applied to images processed with HDR software – you might have to reset the exposure from +.20 to 0. -Vipul
