Happy New Year to all of you!

2010 was an exiting year with lots of funny events. In the end of the year I had so much things to do that it was almost impossible to keep up with the updates here at Presets Heaven. 2011 is going to be even better so lets start this year by presenting a new presets contribution. Read more

Get the CSI Miami look

PH CSI MiamiThis is my first attempt to make some ocean/beach photos look like they were taken from the series CSI Miami. All of you who have seen this series know what I mean. All movie shots from that series have a very warm yellow/green tone with. It’s hard to explain but the before/after images below might give you a clue of what I’m talking about.

This preset has a graduated filter applied as well. Move it to fit your own horizontal and adjust the saturation of it if needed. I use it to basically transform grey skies into blue. Read more

Intensify your blue heaven

PH Intensive HeavenIt’s a new week and why not start it with a preset? Today I was looking at some pictures from my last vacation in Firenze (Italy) 2008. From the hotel room I took some photos of the environment outside. There were lots of roofs and a blue sky out there.

Every time I start playing around in Lightroom with some photos, I notice they all can be improved in some way. This time one of my photos looked a bit faded and had a dull sky and an overall gray feeling. So I created this new preset that I call “PH Intensive Heaven“, but as you can see it intensify more than just the blue colors. Try it yourself, you might like it! :-) Read more

Autumn is here and with autumn come leafs falling from the trees. Today I was out raking leafs like a maniac. My body is definitely going to feel this tomorrow. The sun had almost gone to bed when I took some photos of a basked, full of leafs, standing on the grass.

When I came home and imported my photos they looked as dull as I had expected them to be. So without using any of my previous presets, I started to play with the color settings. A little more of green, orange, red and yellow made me satisfied. So now I have one more preset to share with you guys. I call it “Colorize my Autumn“. The preset is available in two versions, one with vignettes and the other without. Read more

“Nate” has contributed to my site earlier with some nice presets. Today he did it again. This time it’s a special contribution because this preset is exclusively published ONLY on presetsheaven.com. It’s called “Elsie” and it’s one of many nice presets from his collection called “Wonderland Presets Autumn Essentials Pack”. If you’re looking for a preset that adds some punch to your photos, this might be The one! Read more

The Subtle Color Pop preset pops the colors

This is a response to a preset request in the presetsheaven flickr group. I’ve attempted to make a preset that makes the color subtly pop out, just near the limit to what is unnatural. When it comes to color adjustments in Lightroom, It’s always hard to make a preset that works for all images. The lightness and darkness in the images plays a big role here. I still think it works pretty good on most of my images. Check out “Subtle Color Pop“… Read more
