A perfect Lightroom preset to start with
Hi all readers, fans and Lightroom lovers!
Here comes another preset made by request, from Ole at our Facebook page. This is the story behind it…
Each camera has one or more profiles that controls the colors etc. when you shoot in JPEG. All this data is embedded into the JPEG file. When you shoot in RAW-mode, In short terms – that data is attached (not merged into the images) and you are able to adjust all settings before you export your photos to JPEG (or any other format) without destroying the quality of your images. 3 New Lightroom presets from Adam
Hi, Hola, Ciao, Salut, Hej!
Adam from Poland just sent me three of his own made presets to share with the rest of you. This is what i says about them:
-”Hi, my name is Adam and i come from Poland. I’ve found Your website about a week ago and it helped me a lot with postprocessing of my pictures so I decided to share some of my presets with you. It’s difficult for me to describe them, I prefer a retro style so i tried to make some presets that will make my pictures a little bit like retro. This “yoshkiRetroGreenLightenUp” preset is great for pics taken without flash when for example a face of a person go shades or is a liitle too dark, You can still set a lower exposure if after using this preset the picture is too bright. I have also sent You sample photos of each preset. Hope You’ll enjoy them. Thanks for this helpfull website You made.” Read more
PH GreenYellow for a bright and soft effect
Long time no see, but here I am again with a new preset for both Lightroom 2 and 3!
I’ve been soo busy the last couple of months that I almost feel bad for you guys. I’ve been shooting lots of funny things including jewelry and some maternity photos. I bring my camera everywhere I go actually. If I don’t, I’m afraid i will miss an opportunity to “catch” a moment :-)
I’ve been using Lightroom 3 for some time now and I must say it’s really a good investment if you’re into photography and been using LR 2 before. The improvements of noise reduction is my absolute favorite among all other great news in LR3.
Today I’ve made a new preset called YellowGreen! It makes your photos brighter with a soft tone of “yellow-green” and some purple :-) Since most of you probably still using Lightroom 2 I’ve made two versions of this preset. One for LR2 and one for LR3. Read more
What the eyes can’t see…
Hi all!
Yesterday I was on a seminar about web trends and took some photos. The light in the room wasn’t good enough to take photos without using a flash. Still, I took some test-shots before I turned my flash on and the result was not satisfying at all. In fact, some of the photos was so bad you couldn’t see what was on them. Fortunately I had my external flash with me and was able to take some really nice shots on this day. But, imagine you just had one shot and no flash this time and your photo turned into blackness… Read more
Burn the light into bright
Hi everone! It’s been sometime now since I last updated PH with a preset. I’m sorry about that but I’ve been soo busy planning my upcoming wedding in September. I almost wish someone else could do it for me. ;-). The most important parts have been solved though and a photographer have been booked! I know I’m going to be so eager to see the photos right away.
Enough about my wedding and let’s focus on my brand new preset. I just call it PH Portrait Brightness because of its edgy and hard contrast effect. See for yourself and enjoy the download! Read more
