I just found your presets and was wondering if they are for raw or jpeg files?

    Hi Abbie,
Most these presets are for RAW. You can however try them on your JPEGs but be aware of that the effect might not look as good as it should.

Hello! I just found your site and very excited about downloading some fun, fantastic presets but I’m worried about OS. The OS requirements seem to be Windows only – or maybe I’m just not reading it correctly. I hope this is not a dumb question but are your presets Mac compatible? Thank you!

Will these presets also work with Lightroom 3?

Yes but with some restrictions. Try them out.
    Thanks, Pierre

I have just found your excellent website, as someone who has spent too many hours in a darkroom. moving over to digital was tough, but leaving the darkroom easy. now i have lightroom and quite honestly I am at a loss how to create the impact i want in my images.

I am frustrated in the fact that I spend too long infront of my laptop, when I prefer to be behind the camera.

Clearly you are a man of many talents both behind a camera and in front of a computer.

So if I may be so bold as to correct a grammatical error, in the section on purchasing thePro presets “we advice you” is correct if your core target audience is a) North American b) English is a 2nd or 3rd language c) or both of the forementioned.

However it should read “we advise you” .

If I ask a friend about two alternative web sites offering presets for lightroom that I i can’t make my mind up on which is better. I will turn to him for his advice.

However if I have decided that your product is exactly what i am looking for, but not sure which version I need, be it version, 1) begin, 2) intermediate or 3) professional.

In which case it should read “we advise you”. I am stateing this, purely because your site is proffessional and feel that this grammatical error is demeaning.

If this has been helpful, I am happy but if you feel I am been rude or insulting, I am sorry that was never my intention.

Maybe you could help me, if I have been helpful to you?

I am after two quick fixes 1) to create dramatic looking landscapes. 2} creating a mirror image (for example a reflection in a river).

Because I am so new to Lightroom, I dont know if I have asked the most inane questions that even a 7 year old could answer. If you could help it would be very much appreciated. If this comment was not well received my apologies, it was not my intention to offend, merely to correct.

Your whole site is surely based on some sort of correction.

Thank you for taking the time to read my comment/s.

Jerome (spent too long in the dark(room) bought the program but still have trouble useing the light(room).

    Hi Jerome,
First, thank you for the correction :-)

If you intend to create a dramatic landscape you should try out and play with Vibrance, Saturation and Clarity. It totally depends on what kind if photo you’re manipulating.

Mirror images cannot be done in LR. If you’re looking for a function on how to copy the half upper part and place it in the lower, you should be using Photoshop or a similar editor.

I hope that was a little help.
    Thanks, Pierre
